About Me

My Name is Veronika Lazar. I am a Ukrainian born artist currently based out of Vancouver, B.C.

Moving from Ukraine two years ago, Vancouver has become my home and a vessel for my creativity. Constantly finding inspiration from the city and people that live here.

Photography helps me find my footing in a new setting. Exploring Vancouver after just moving here I began taking photos capturing people and moments as they happened. This is where the idea came to take the moments I have been photographing and turn them into a paintings. My work is about highlighting the moments of humanity and connection in our everyday lives.
